Our membrane has been certified by the NSF (standard 58) for the following contaminants: Arsenic V (inorganic) , Barium, Cadmium, Chromium (Hexavalent), Chromium (Trivalent), Copper, Cysts, Turbidity, Fluoride, Lead, Radium 226/228, Selenium, and TDS. (reverse osmosis will remove 80 to 90 percent of the fluoride in municipal water). Note: the RO membrane will NOT remove organic arsenic III, arsenite trivalent.

The PRO-150 portable reverse osmosis system uses the newest GE Osmonics 150 gallon per day TLC RO membrane that makes a glass of pure water in about 10 seconds (requires at least 50 psi water pressure to operate). Just connect it to your faucet with the diverter valve (value may vary from picture), turn on your tap water, and collect the pure water either directly into your glass, or into a storage bottle. This is a 3 stage system with a KDF/GAC pre-filter for chlorine, taste and odors followed by a GE equivlent Osmonics membrane for removing minerals, heavy metals, fluoride, sodium and more, and a coconut shell GAC (granulated activated carbon) post filter for final polishing. KDF/GAC Cartridge Warranty & Clogging
Our warranty does not cover sediment clogging. If your municipal water contains a high level of sediment, you should add a sediment pre-filter to protect the KDF/GAC filter from clogging. New York City area water is known to have this problem.
